2018 Race Results
Five Flags Speedway - Pensacola, FL - Snowball Derby 300 - 12-2
Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup / DDP Motorsports #42, Dennis Prunty started 22nd in the 36 car field. Unfortunately during the warm up laps, the car had brake problems and Dennis needed to bring it into the pits just before the Green Flag. The crew was able to fix the problem, but Dennis started the race 4 laps down. Dennis said that the car was running great after that, but he couldn't make up the lost laps at the beginning of the race and finished 23rd.
Dells Raceway Park - Wisconsin Dells, WI - TUNDRA Twin 55's - 9-23
The Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup, Pathfinder Chassis, DDP Motorsports #42 was running great during practice earlier in the day. Driver Dennis Prunty realized that something just wasn't right with the car during the race(s). In the first race he finished 13th. In the second race, Dennis was running 6th, when an axle broke. The handling went away and he finished 18th.
Slinger Speedway - Slinger, WI - Season Finale - Sunday, 9-9
Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup, Pathfinder Chassis, DDP Motorsports #42, Dennis Prunty started 7th. He was able to work his way up to a 3rd place finish.
Slinger Speedway - Slinger, WI - Triple Crown/Round #3 - Sunday, 8-19
Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup, Pathfinder Chassis, DDP Motorsports #42, Dennis Prunty started on the Pole and led all 60 Laps, on his way to victory. This was his 55th Super Late Model Win of his Career.
Wisconsin International Raceway - Kaukauna, WI - Dixieland 250 - Tuesday, 8-7
Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup, Pathfinder Chassis, DDP Motorsports #42, Dennis Prunty, along with the entire field, were coming around turn #4, approaching the Green Flag, to start the race. Another car hit Dennis from behind and sent him spinning into the inside retaining wall. The car suffered too much damage and Dennis wasn't even able to start the race. It was a DNF.
Slinger Speedway - Slinger, WI - Weekly Show - Sunday, 8-5
Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup, Pathfinder Chassis, DDP Motorsports #42, Dennis Prunty struggled with the handling of the car and also cars that were racing side by side ahead of him. He finished 4th.
Dells Raceway Park - Wisconsin Dells, WI - Alive for Five Series, Race #4 - Saturday, 8-4
Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup, Pathfinder Chassis, DDP Motorsports #42, Dennis Prunty had to start from rear of the field because of car problems during qualifying. He was working his way through the field when a wreck occurred directly in front of him. Trying to avoid the wreck, he struck the wall. Dennis was able to continue on, although the car was damaged, he was still able to finish the race on the lead lap, in 10th.
Slinger Speedway - Slinger, WI - Weekly Show - Sunday, 7-29
Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup, Pathfinder Chassis, DDP Motorsports #42, Dennis Prunty led the way until a caution came out with six Laps to go. On the re-start, the car was tight and Dennis finished second.
Slinger Speedway - Slinger, Wisconsin - Triple Crown/Round 2 - Sunday, July 22nd, 2018
Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup, Wiedmeyer Express #22, Dennis started 11th. He worked his way up to 3rd, with only about a few Laps to go. On the final Lap, the 2nd Place car bumped the 1st Place car, on the backstretch, causing it to spin in turns 3 & 4. The 1st Place car then lost control, coming out of turn 4. Dennis had no place to go and ran into the 1st Place car. The 2nd Place car then drove to the inside, finishing 1st. Track Officials ruled that the 2nd Place (#63) car caused the incident and Disqualified him. They awarded 1st Place to the #51 car and awarded 2nd Place to Dennis.
Jefferson Speedway - Jefferson, Wisconsin - TUNDRA 75 - Saturday, July 21st, 2018
Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup, Pathfinder Chassis, DDP Motorsports #42, Dennis started 7th. He quickly worked his way up to 2nd Place and was battling for 1st, when rain came over the Track, at the halfway point in the race. Track Officials decided to call the race and Dennis finished 2nd.
Wisconsin International Raceway - Kaukauna, WI – The White Race - Thursday, July 12th
Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup/DDP Motorsports/Pathfinder Chassis #42, Dennis qualified 5th. Within the first two laps of the race, a car directly ahead of Dennis slowed coming out of turn 4. Dennis slowed down to avoid hitting that car but was then hit from behind. Track Officials sent Dennis to the rear of the field. Dennis battled his way back in the race to finish in 8th Place.
Slinger Speedway - Slinger, WI – Slinger Nationals 200 - Tuesday, July 10th
Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup/DDP Motorsports/Pathfinder Chassis #42, Dennis qualified 4th. With the invert, Dennis started 9th in the 24 car field. He stayed up front with the leaders going into the 10 minute break at the 100 Lap point. Shortly after the re-start, Dennis took over 2nd, battled lapped traffic, and held on to a 2nd Place finish.
Slinger Speedway - Slinger, WI – Oscar Mike 75 Lap Special - Sunday, July 1st
Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup/DDP Motorsports/Pathfinder Chassis #42, Dennis set Fast Time, Started 10th and went on to win his 54th career Super Late Model race! This was also Dennis' 5th Super Late Model win of the 2018 Season
Toledo Speedway - Toledo, OH – ARCA/CRA 100 - Friday, June 29th
Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup/DDP Motorsports/Pathfinder Chassis #42, Dennis battled handling problems with the car in the race. The crew made some adjustments during a Caution. Dennis was able to finish 9th.
Dells Raceway Park - Wisconsin Dells, WI – Alive for Five Series/Round #2 - Saturday, June 23rd
Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup/DDP Motorsports/Pathfinder Chassis #42, Dennis started 6th. During a caution with about 60 Laps to go, the #42 suffered some minor damage. Dennis was still able to continue on in the race and finish 4th.
Slinger Speedway - Slinger, WI – Weekly Show - Sunday, June 17th
Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup/DDP Motorsports/Pathfinder Chassis #42, Dennis Qualified 5th and started 5th. Dennis was racing in the top three on the final Lap, looking to take over the lead. On the backstretch, the second place car moved up on Dennis, causing Dennis to scrape the wall. Dennis lost control of the car and skid into the wall between turns three and four. As a result, Dennis finished 12th.
WIR - Kaukauna, WI – Red Race - Thursday, June 7th
Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup/DDP Motorsports/Pathfinder Chassis #42, Dennis started 5th. Early in the race, coming out of turn 4, Dennis and another car made some minor contact, while Dennis was trying to take the lead. As a result, Dennis went into a skid going down the front-stretch, coming about as close as you could possibly get to completely skidding out of control. He was able to regain control and finish in 4th Place.
Slinger Speedway - Slinger, WI – Memorial Weekend Special 75 - Sunday, May 27th
Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup/DDP Motorsports/Pathfinder Chassis #42, Dennis started 5th and then took the lead on Lap 20. He stayed out front to the finish and picked up his 53rd Super Late Model win.
Slinger Speedway - Slinger, WI – Weekly Show - Sunday, May 20th
Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup/DDP Motorsports/Pathfinder Chassis #42, Dennis qualified 2nd. After the Dice Roll, to set the line-up, Dennis started 9th. Having to make his way through traffic, Dennis worked his way up to a 2nd Place finish.
Wisconsin International Raceway - Kaukauna, WI - TUNDRA Racing Series - Sunday, May 13th
Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup/Pathfinder Chassis/DDP Motorsports #42, Dennis started 6th and finished in 1st Place. This was Dennis' 3rd win in a row already this season and his 52nd Feature win of his career. This race was originally scheduled for Saturday, May 12th but due to rain it got rescheduled to Sunday, May 13th.
Slinger Speedway - Slinger, WI - Weekly Show - Sunday, May 6th
Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup/DDP Motorsports/Pathfinder Chassis #42, Dennis set Fast Time. He went on to win his 51st Super Late Model Feature.
Slinger Speedway - Slinger, WI - Season Opener 75 - Sunday, April 29th
Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup/DDP Motorsports/Pathfinder Chassis #42, Dennis qualified 2nd. After the Dice Roll, to set the line-up, Dennis started 5th. About half way into the race he took the lead and stayed up front to the finish. This was Dennis' 50th Super Late Model win of his career.
Dells Raceway Park - Wisconsin Dells, WI - IceBreaker 100 - Sunday, April 22nd
Driving the Anderson's Pure Maple Syrup/DDP Motorsports #42, Dennis qualified 11th. About half way into the race, another car made contact with Dennis coming out of turn 2. As a result of the contact, Dennis spun out. On the re-start, Dennis was now at the tail end of the field. He raced his way back to a 5th place finish, still on the Lead Lap.
